Sid Martin Incubator Image Selected by Dell
Wow! It's exciting to see our image in New York's Times Square!
A photo taken for UF's Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator was displayed on a huge electronic billboard in New York's Times Square in June 2007 as part of a DELL ad campaign. Taken by Debra Neill-Mareci (Neill BioMedical Art), the Incubator's graphic design consultant, it shows Dr. Darby Thomas, a scientist for one of the Incubator's graduate companies- Applied Genetic Technologies Corp. This photo is also featured on the DELL website (see below) and is seen with others on a new Dell Corp. catalog cover.
