V.M. (Vic) Esposito
Dr. Esposito, the Founder and Principal of The Esposito Group (TEG), has over 25 years of experience in international business and technology management in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in both Fortune 100 and emerging companies.
Dr. Esposito’s experience spans the operating areas of technology development, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, marketing, business development, and strategic planning in the product areas of vaccines, therapeutics and diagnostics. Positions with emerging biotechnology companies includes: President, CEO and Chairman, AntexBiologics; Founder, President & CEO, Theracel Corporation; President and CEO, Karyon Technology Inc.; and President and COO, Genex Corporation. He was also President and CEO, Miles Scientific (Bayer Pharmaceutical) and Analytab Products Division of American Home Products Corporation (Wyeth). Dr. Esposito served Becton Dickinson’s BBL Microbiology Systems and BioQuest divisions as Vice President of R&D, diagnostic reagents manufacturing, quality assurance and regulatory affairs. He was also Director of R&D and Technical Services at American Hospital Supply Corporation (Baxter).
A reserve officer of the U.S. Public Health Service, Dr. Esposito began his professional career at the National Institutes of Health as a Commissioned Public Health Service Officer. Dr. Esposito is a member of numerous professional societies, including the New York Academy of Sciences, the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Society of Microbiology, the American Association of Blood Banks, AOAC International, American Association for the Advancement of Science, International Society for Vaccines, High Technology Council of Maryland and the Biotechnology Industry Organization.
