Stephen Snowdy
Dr. Stephen Snowdy joined the Firm in early 2003. Stephen's educational training highlights his versatility as a member of our team. Stephen is the first person to simultaneously complete Ph.D. and MBA degrees at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. He earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology where he completed his dissertation on "Mechanisms of nuclear targeting by adeno-associated virus virons and capsid proteins."
Stephen also earned an MBA from UNC with a concentration in finance. As part of his MBA studies, he helped start a small biotechnology company by writing the business plan, participating in strategic decisions, and co-managing business development activities.
Stephen obtained a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Florida and spent the following two years as a research scientist at the university. His undergraduate studies followed service in the United States Navy as a member of an elite special forces unit in submarine warfare and as a Navy diver.
Stephen serves on the Board of Directors for Protein Discovery, Inc., and is an official observer on the board of Kereos, Inc.
